What is an MFT?
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
Marriage and Family Therapists are relationship specialists who work with people on their interpersonal and intrapersonal relationships to develop strengths and overcome challenges. You don’t need to be married or have children to see an MFT. Whether you need to develop a stronger bond with your spouse, enhance communications with a child or loved one, improve relations with friends or co-workers, or enrich the relationship with yourself, we are here to help you.
LMFT
LMFT stands for “Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist”. A person operating under this license has earned a Masters Degree from an accredited Marriage and Family Therapy program and has completed the necessary hours and tests to work as a licensed practitioner.
I am currently a registered LMFT (#95752) with the Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS).
